Capable product, unstable ground
Windsurf's Cascade remains one of the better agentic IDE flows — multi-file tasks with clear step review — and the ~$15 entry undercuts most direct rivals. On raw capability, it's a 7/10 quality tool with 8.5/10 ergonomics.
Why the score is what it is
